Aaron Bennett

Major: Chemical Engineering

Aaron Bennett is a senior in Chemical Engineering and expects to graduate in May of 2019. He will be serving as the vice chair of communications for the Energy Coalition. Aaron is a member of both the Honors College and the America Institute of Chemical Engineers and works part-time as an undergraduate teaching assistant to develop student skills in computing for engineering disciplines. Aaron is an international student and is interested in providing guidance to other internationals who are following the same educational path as him.

Aaron’s career goals are to work in plant operations and to work toward management later in his career. He hopes to eventually be able to influence responsible and sustainable engineering practices for years to come.

When he is not busy with work and school, Aaron fosters sick and abandoned dogs until they can be adopted into permanent homes.
