Vice Chair of Communications
MS Electrical Engineering
Manisha is a graduate student at the University of Houston’s Cullen College of Engineering majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of Communications for the University of Houston Energy Coalition, where she promotes energy-related events and initiatives happening on and around campus by managing email communications and outreach. Her role supports student engagement in energy topics and fosters awareness of opportunities within the sector. she previously worked as an Electrical Engineer in India, where she led several impactful projects. Her efforts earned her the Best Innovation Award across all JM Baxi branches in India, along with two additional recognitions for cost-saving implementations.
Driven by a passion for clean energy and sustainability, Manisha is actively involved in Environmental Texas, supporting initiatives that promote renewable energy and environmental conservation. At UH, she is focused on enhancing her technical expertise through coursework and hands-on projects. Outside of academics and professional life, Manisha enjoys sketching, hiking, and exploring new places through travel. With a goal to contribute meaningfully to the energy sector, she seeks to apply her technical and leadership skills toward sustainable energy solutions and smarter infrastructure systems.
