Before becoming Chair of the Energy Coalition, Christian was active within the organizations of the Bauer School of Business. He co-founded the first student-run marketing firm within the University of Houston, was active with the Investment Banking Scholars Club, Asian Business Student Association, Student Government Association and the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship. His passion for the disciplines within the energy sector lead him to join the Energy Coalition as first the webmaster, then the Vice Chair of Marketing and ultimately becoming Chair. 

Through his passion for the University of Houston, its students, and its positioning in the Energy Capital of the World, Christian is dedicated to ensure that the University of Houston is coveted as one of the top universities in the world for energy related fields.
