Elizabeth Knuppel is a Chemical Engineering major with a minor in Politics and Ethics and will be graduating May 2019. During the 2016-2017 academic year, Elizabeth was an Ambassador for the UH Energy Program. She is also active in the Honors College at the University of Houston and has served as a mentor for the Honors College Mentorship Program. Elizabeth has participated in a NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates at Rice University, where she utilized computation skills to research bacterial population dynamics. This summer, Elizabeth is working at the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Extern. In the future, she hopes to attend law school and pursue a career in intellectual property.
