Board Chair
Neha Bhat
Neha Bhat currently works in Deloitte's Controllership group specializing in Value Chain Optimization strategy and Digital Delivery. She is a proud Coog who completed both her Master's of Accountancy BBA in Accounting at the C.T. Bauer College of Business. Neha Bhat recently served as the Chair for the UH Energy Coalition and is now humbled to serve as the Chair of the UH Energy Coalition Alumni Board. Over the past year she has supported Agile Digital Delivery, energy transition strategy workshops, and ESG projects in addition to the development of internal strategic growth offerings. Neha looks forward to propelling the future of the energy industry through the energy transition and towards a more sustainable future.

Oscar Herdocia
Oscar Herdocia is a 20+ year old veteran of the Energy industry, working to transform it from within to ensure it is sustainable for future generations to come. Oscar is an alum of the Cullen College of Engineering and the Honors College at the University of Houston, and also holds an Executive MBA degree from Yale focused on Sustainability. He is a Chartered Project Professional trained through experience delivering projects for international energy companies bp and Shell around the globe. Oscar was awarded the 2023 US Sustainability Leadership award from Shell’s Future Energy Leaders employee group. He mentored winning teams two years in row for the employees grassroot sustainability project competitions, as well as the winning team for the CEO Powering Progress Respecting Nature award in 2022. He is also a recipient of a 2023 AIM2Flourish Sustainability Award from Case Western Reserve University.

Kamalpreet Kaur
Kamalpreet is a professional at the forefront of innovative solutions in the energy sector. Graduating from the University of Houston in 2019, she holds a double major in Management Information Systems and Marketing. Currently serving as a Professional Leader for Low Carbon Solutions at NOV, Kamal is dedicated to pioneering advancements in Carbon Capture and Hydrogen technologies. Kamal's career trajectory showcases a diverse spectrum of experiences. Her passion for fostering Low Carbon incentives has been a guiding force, inspiring her to delve deeper into innovative solutions that bridge the gap between industry demands and environmental consciousness. She is committed to driving conversations and initiatives centered around energy sustainability as an EC Alumni Board member. Kamal epitomizes the blend of expertise, passion, and vision crucial for steering the energy sector towards a sustainable and prosperous future.
