William Day is a passionate advocate for sustainability and optimization in business, supply chain, and logistics. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain and Logistics Technology at the University of Houston's Cullen College of Engineering, William is recognized for his leadership and innovative approach to problem-solving.
As the Vice Chair of Corporate Relations for the UH Energy Coalition, William leverages his expertise in network development and cross-functional team collaboration to foster meaningful partnerships between academia and industry. His role as President of the Supply-Chain Industrial Distribution Organization has honed his skills in organizational management and strategic communication, enabling him to lead initiatives that drive growth and engagement.
William's hands-on experience spans roles in sales, business development, and analytics, with a notable position as Partner and Director of Business Development at Marketing Aide LLC. Here, he successfully established long-term relationships with clients and led impactful marketing strategies for small businesses.
William has also excelled in competitive academic projects, winning first place in the "Drones for Dredging Solutions" presentation at the Port of The Future Conference, and earning accolades for his work on sustainable water desalination and plastic recyclability solutions.
