Major: Technology Leadership Innovation Management
Minor: Human Resources Development
Jennifer is a transfer student at the College of Technology at the University of Houston. She transferred to UH from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, where she was a pre-med student. After a collegiate hiatus, she discovered her innate and blended passions for human relations, leadership, technology, and business, and ultimately, decided to rejuvenate and redirect her education here at UH. She is currently majoring in Technology Leadership Innovation Management and minoring in Human Resources Development, and her expected graduation date is May 2023. On campus, she is a member of both the UH Urban Experiences Program and the UH Ignite Leadership Program. As of recent, she has been named as an eligible participant and scholar of BP’s Shaping Talent Energy & Potential (STEP) Program. Her career goals lie in working in the energy industry, applying her wide range of interests, talents, and skills in either technology consulting, HR management, or marketing. Aside from her career aspirations, she is heavily invested in improving her community by participating in community projects, especially in low-income communities. In October 2019, she helped draft a grant funding proposal for the Beautify & Unify Houston Project, a non-profit beautification and sustainability group aimed at beautifying low-income communities. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, writing, exercising, and therapeutic cleaning and organization.
