Major: Petroleum Engineering

Mariia Bychina obtained her Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science in 2011, Russia. After graduation, she worked for an operator company in Moscow and continued working as a production engineer for Weatherford International.  In 2015 she joined University of Houston, Petroleum Engineering Department, where currently she is pursuing her Ph.D. degree. Her sphere of interest is hydraulic fracture design and production data analysis.  Mariia is a member of professional membership Society of Petroleum Engineers.
